An Evening With…
Choreographed by Meghan Letizia
An Evening With… is an exploration into the 1979 Supertramp album “Breakfast in America” and its consequent translation into movement. Following a group “listening party” and guided reflection, this shared exploration into nuanced narrative and emotional understandings of the album will inspire movement and anchor the work. An Evening with Supertramp dances both with and against the inherent musical and conceptual qualities of the album itself, ultimately creating a work that is musically curious and narratively explorative.
